We know that calculator works with numbers. So does the computer. So what is the difference between them? To put it simply, calculators can do only one thing at a time. When you want to solve a problem, you have to press various buttons after each step to tell it what to do next. On the other hand, a computer can be given a series of instructions. These instructions are known as computer programmers.
A program tells the computer what to do next, when you assign a task to it. The computer will follow all the steps according to the program, and give you the answer without any further instruction from the person.
